Project Description

This project was run by the Mpala Research Centre and Wildlife Conservaition Society in the Laikipia District of Kenya. The project focused on evaluating the effect of 4 different levels of livestock management (Zero livestock, moderate stocking density, high stocking density group on a ranch, and high stocking density fenced) on wildlife communities.

Project Design

The study took place from January 2008 to 2010. Deercam, Reconyx RM45, and Covert 550 cameras were set for 21 days at 537 camera stations.
