Finca Palmira is an active, established teak plantation near Wacucco, Panama.  The property was historically used for cattle farming, but was converted into a teak plantation several years ago.  Open cattle fields are still present on a portion of the property, and large stands of native forest are present in the steep, hilly area southwest of the teak stands.  We placed five baited cameras in forest (teak stands as well as the edjges of native forest stands adjacent the teak) and five baited cameras in open areas.
