One of three small sites sampled in the hilly, partially forested area north of Chepo.  Agua Viva is a partially forested, family owned farm along a riverbank.  The owners raise cattle and chickens here, but the property serves as a secondary form of income and is not managed as intensively as some other sites (e.g. Maria Isabella).
