Virginia Projects
eMammal is overseen by the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute (SCBI), a 3200 acre research facility in Front Royal, VA. SCBI has utilized eMammal since its inception to facilitate and manage a variety of landscape scale mammal monitoring projects based out of Virginia. Each project is a means of exploring the wildlife in our own backyard, while elevating the awareness of the general public through citizen science and educational outreach.
