Timestamp on camera is Eastern Standard Time (EST). Camera deployed on ridge along gated USFS Rd. 83-C at Coweeta Hydrologic Laboratory. Overstory includes Quercus montana, Q. coccinea, Acer rubrum, and Amelanchier spp. Understory includes Kalmia latifolia. Note that on June 24, 2017 at 6:23 am (EST) an American Black Bear visited the camera and changed the angle of the camera so that the detection distance was reduced to about 2 m following the encounter.
