Camera was mounted to a white oak tree in a clearing at the end of a northwest running ridge, about 50 yards from a trail. Camera was facing northwest. The ground was open but surrounded by mountain laurel, mixed oak species and Virginia pine. Scattered patches of lowbush blueberry in the area as well. Site is approximately 100 yards from a water source.
