Third failed deployment for NRC 181 camera due to camera malfunction. Used new batteries provided by SCBI. It captured 10 images of camera trapper at beginning of deployment. Nothing after that. Camera was dead on pickup. Redeployed it same day with new batteries, and it appeared functional. Recommend removing it from service.
