Analyze Data

Analyze Data

There are a lot of exciting discoveries to be made from analyzing camera trap data.  We provide some basic data analysis tools so that anyone can explore camera trap data with a few clicks of the mouse. The example below shows the difference in activity patterns between urban white-tailed deer in Rock Creek Park in Washington D.C. and rural deer in Shenandoah National Park. As more and more data accumulate in eMammal, there are more and more exciting comparisons and opportunities to learn new things about animals just by examining the data in a new way.  Check out our data analysis pages here, and come back regularly as new data sets and even new analysis tools will are added to eMammal.
