Camera redeployed close to site 8, but attached to a fencepost instead of a tree to try and deter woopeckers
Camera PIR cover had several holes poked in it by a woodpecker at site 8. I tested it at the office, and it seemed to be trigging fine at varieous distances. Looking through the images, it seems like it had more misfires once the PIR cover got damaged.
Checked 10/5, 10/16 and working fine
Misfires removed by AI
10/1 the solar well overflow pond that the camera is pointed at was dredged to make it deeper, that is why piles of dirt appear. The AI pulled out the pictures of the machinery.
I have no way of quantifying if the detection rate was a good as before the PIR cover was damaged. I'll leave it up to the team on whether to include this deployment or not.
