There are two set of data in this subproject. Rock Creek Park was sampled in the fall (August-November) of 2012 and 2013. The park is limited for number of locations to deploy cameras, so the same camera locations were used in 2013 as 2012. Therefore the deployments are name similarly. Deployments labeled "-2" at the end were surveyed in 2013. All others were surveyed in 2012.

These two parks are on contiguous forest, split by a 2 lane highway. they have the same covariates and therefore one subproject.

 Harpers Ferry National Historical Park was surveyed in 2012. There were limitations on the locations where cameras could be deployed so a second park (Gambrill State Park) was added to the survey efforts in 2013 to supplement the survey in Harpers Ferry the year before. Both areas are not hunted.

Gambrill State park was surveyed in 2013 and was intended to add to the survey effort of Harper's Ferry National Historical Park (HFNHP). Harpers Ferry was limited in the number of locations to deploy cameras, and efforts at Gambrill supplemented the survey effort in the Harpers Ferry area. Both areas are not hunted.

Thompson Wildlife Management Area was first surveyed in the fall 2012 and supplemented in the fall 2013. Deployments 14-2, 17-2, 30, 31, 33, 34, 36, 37 were surveyed in 2013, all others were from 2012.  Deployments14-2 and 17-2 were surveyed in 2013 are were placed in the same locations as 14 and 17 from the 2012 survey. All other deployments surveyed in 2013 were new unique camera locations.
